FAQS - Features/Benefits

What are the advantages of a heavily built boat?

In Parker's quest to build a long-lasting quality product, there have never been compromises made in achieving these goals. Parker could build the boats lighter, but unfortunately lighter means less material, and less material means less strength and less long-term durability. The quality of the ride as well as the strength relate highly to the heavy construction for which Parker is known. Parker customers have been attracted to our boats because of the strength and durability factors which relate directly to our multiple layers of chopped strand and woven roven that create the desired results. The efficient hull design, allowing Parker boats to plane easily and run more economically model for model than competitors, more than compensates for the heavy construction.
