FAQS - Construction

What laminates are used in the hull and decks?

Parker's heavily built boats are constructed of a special blend of polyester resins and multiple layers of chopped strand mat and woven roven. These layers are properly positioned, giving maximum strength and durability. Additional laminates are placed in critical stress areas of the hulls and decks. Attention to the details required to build the best boat available is always applied to the process. There is no substitute for the time-honored methods employed by Parker which ensure maximum value to the Parker owner. The number of laminates varies according the hull size, but all Parker boats are still built as they were in the beginning -- to meet the rigors and demands of even the heavy use of commercial boats.
